Family League of Baltimore is led by President & CEO Demaune A. Millard and guided by a volunteer Board of Directors drawn from Baltimore's public, private, philanthropic, and community sectors.

Demaune A. Millard was appointed the 5th President & CEO of Family League of Baltimore by its Board of Directors in April 2018. He leads and manages Family League's $19 million operations, the largest local management board in the state of Maryland. Prior to his elevation to the role of President, Demaune served for over two years as the organization's Chief Operating Officer and assumed the role of Interim CEO in July 2017.

In addition to his core responsibilities, Demaune also serves on the cabinet of the Honorable Brandon M. Scott, Mayor of the City of Baltimore, and is a member of the Greater Baltimore Committee's (GBC) Presidential Advisory Council and the Johns Hopkins University Center on Adolescent Health Community Advisory Board. He chairs GBC's Education and Workforce Committee and serves as Co-Chair of Baltimore City's Community Schools Steering Committee.

Nancy Blackwell — Chair

Nancy Blackwell serves as Chair of Family League's Board of Directors and brings more than 20 years of passionate advocacy and professional experience in child welfare and human services to her role as Director of Philanthropy at the Greater Washington Urban League, where she leads fundraising initiatives and cultivates donor relationships to advance the organization's mission of empowering communities. Throughout her career, Blackwell has focused on child welfare, early childhood development, faith-based policy, workforce development and family homelessness across organizations in Baltimore, Annapolis and Washington, DC. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Foreign Language and Political Science from Mount Saint Mary's and a Master's Degree in Jurisprudence from the Pearson School of Law at Loyola University in Chicago.
